Meet Molly Simons
Molly has always been interested in nutrition as she developed her love of fitness and health as an adult. Through her own journey of learning how to nourish her body for Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, and endurance running. The more Molly has dived into the science behind nourishing and fueling the body, the more she wanted help others learn how to do the same for themselves. Despite playing softball all the way through college, Molly has an unhealthy relationship with food most of her through her mid 20s. Although its has taken time to make a mental shift about food and fuel, it has given her the tools, experience, and knowledge to help others going through the same mindset.
Molly has an undergraduate degree in accounting as well as a Master’s in Finance. After working as a traveling accountant for the State of Washington, she went into Law Enforcement for several years. Through both of her previous careers, she built experience and knowledge of nutrition while traveling, as well nutrition tailored to shift work from policing.
This is not where the learning stopped. Molly is currently enrolled in the University of Northern Colorado’s Distance Dietetic Program (DDP) where she plans to pursue the Registered Dietician medical credential.
Molly will tell you hands down that food and nutrition are the greatest medicines for our bodies. Through guidance in habits and mindset, nourishing our bodies does not have to a mystery.
Outside of the world of nutrition, Molly loves to train by throwing weights around through strength training and Olympic Weightlifting, with the occasional running and yoga. She is married to most amazing man ever and has two dogs she loves. Molly loves to read and make traditional sourdoughs she sells locally.
